Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was spent in Colorado this year. We enjoyed some time together baking, decorating, relaxing - reminding ourselves of the things we are truly thankful for. We spent the afternoon with our good friends the Hansens and Kelhams at a cozy cottage in the mountains outside of Woodland Park.  Although the day was freezing cold, the kids did enjoying playing outdoors and we all took a hike after a delicious turkey dinner.  I do regret not taking more pictures of the day but I did muster the energy for a shot of my pecan pie and one more of the boys in our front yard as the day marked our first snowfall of the year.  On a side note - on our way home from the mountains we had our first minor car accident heading down the pass from Woodland Park on very slippery roads.  Thankfully we were all fine, but the car did not fair so well - off to the body shop for her!
