We had such fun today. For the past month Nicholas has been studying the art of Paul Gobel with the grandmother of his best buddy at school. Ms. Marrianne is a retired elementary school art teacher and offered to do some lessons for her grandson and his friends. She picked the boys up from school every Wednesday, gave a snack and allowed for some play and then they were off to work, studying about the art of the wild west. Nicholas learned watercolor, stamp making and printing. She brought something out in him artistically that I really didn't know he had inside! Well today was his art show at her ranch in Peyton. We all drove out to play with chickens and goats and learn to ride horses. Just as patient as she was teaching art - Marrianne taught us all the proper care of horses - learning how to brush their coats and clean their hooves, saddle them and how to ride! We had a wonderful time and are so thankful for the experience!

"WOW WOW " what great art work. I had to watch it several times. The boys looked right at home on the ranch and on the horses as well as you and Brian. Time to sell Prairie Wind Drive and move to a ranch. What a great opportunity for Nicky.
All my love,
Aunt PAt
