A Parade, A Flag, and A BBQ
What a great 4th it was. The day started in Monument for the town's 4th of July parade - full of fire trucks, horses, clowns, and even 3 elephants and a camel. We then headed home to hang our new flag on the house just in time for friends and family to arrive for a good old fashioned BBQ with brats, potato salad, coleslaw, chips and dips, and star cakes and cherry crunch for desert. We finished up the evening with sparklers for the kids! A perfect day celebrating the birth of our country!
